The Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) is located in the jungle area, in the middle of the mountains, in the riverside of the Urubamba River. It’s a small town with a tropical climate, in the middle of a forest filled with fog. This town is filled with a variety of hotels and restaurants. Aguas Calientes offers a comfortable and cozy place for all types of Macchu Picchu (Inca’s main ruins) tourists, as its only thirty minutes by bus.

Macchu Picchu is an Inca town, build between the Huayna Picchu and the Macchu Picch mountains, during the ninth Inca reign, Pachacutec, between 1438 and 1470. It is said to have been the resting and religious place. Macchu Picchu is located in the central cordillera of Peru, at 2490 amsl. It’s considered a master piece of architecture and engineering, because the town as a whole fits perfectly with nature, without visually invading the mountains, which translates to a landscape magical beaty in 2007, Macchu Picchu was elected as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and it’s in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Machu Picchu is the site of an ancient Inca city, high in the Andes of Peru. Located at 2430m, the site is often referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas”. It is one of the most famous and spectacular sets of ruins in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983, Machu Picchu has been visited by more than one million people each year and is one of the 7 new wonders of the world.

Each of our dishes are elaborated with dedication and detail, their one main motivation, to satisfy our customer’s palate. The Julian Restaurant experience is offering dishes made with all Peruvian ingredients, full of color, flavors filled with herbs and fresh spices, handpicked from own herb garden.
